I’m fundraising for Melanoma Institute Australia (Melanoma March) and taking steps to beat melanoma. 

As many of you know I was diagnosed with melanoma late last year and am currently undergoing immunotherapy treatment. It has been a difficult and confronting journey so far and I would not be able to fight this fight without the support of and groundbreaking work being done by the amazing people at the Melanoma Institute Australia. 

It is my great hope that the research being done will not only help me but also my children and future generations. No one is immune from this insidious disease and in Australia we have one of the highest rates in the world. Together we can make a difference. 

Melanoma Institute Australia has been at the forefront of major breakthroughs in melanoma treatment, however, as many of us know, not all patients respond. 

More research is needed to ensure everyone survives. That’s why funds raised through this year’s Melanoma March will fund a world-first Personalised Immunotherapy Clinical Trial.
