Story
This year we’re taking part in the Melanoma March to raise funds for the Melanoma Institute — a cause that is deeply personal to me.
I was diagnosed with stage IV melanoma in April 2025 - aged 43 - and faced a prognosis no one ever wants to hear: That there was a 50% chance treatment would be successful. With young children and a partner who I adore, two beautiful sisters and a very tight knit family, plus a life ahead of me… those odds simply weren’t high enough.
Thanks to my extraordinary medical team, I am still here today, still determined to win this battle.
This Sunday, we’re marching to help create a future where melanoma is detected earlier, treated more effectively, and ultimately cured. I never want my children or the people I love to face the kind of prognosis I was given.
Every step we take and every dollar raised helps bring that future closer.
