It's been a long 10 year road for me. In 2013 I was diagnosed with an aggressive melanoma on my back. It was removed quicker than I could blink. But the worst news was yet to come. Fast forward four years, and I was diagnosed as stage IV metastatic cancer. There is nothing quite like having your mortality brought right up to the forefront of your life. It affects so many. And it took so much support to see me through and for that I am so grateful to every single person who sent a message, sent flowers, brought gifts, washed and blow dried my hair, supported me walking, laughed with me, cried with me, brought food, visited me, wrote beautiful words, but mostly, brought SO MUCH LOVE to me and my family.

I'm a lucky bugger! And my story continues but with support from you, it makes it a whole lot easier. 

I'm marching for my kids. May they NEVER have to go through what I have gone through and that the awareness we are working hard to bring and with the generous donations from family and friends, that the Melanoma Institute will find a cure, and there will be ZERO DEATHS from melanoma in the not to distant future.

And if it happens to you, may there be clinical trials that save your life.
